Jane Finkle

Jane has over 20 years experience in helping individuals with career assessment, planning, job search strategies, and workplace adjustment.  Prior to founding her practice, Jane served as Associate Director of Career Services at the University of Pennsylvania, where she designed and administered career programs, developed resources, and provided career counseling and advice on employment trends for students and alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Wharton School. Jane created and led the “Wharton Career Discovery” seminar and served as liaison to recruiters from major corporations. She also served as part time career counselor at Bryn Mawr College.

Jane advised Internet users nationwide regarding their career interests at US News and World Report’s Education and Career Forum an interactive website for five years. She taught a Career Evaluation course at the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate course in Career Development at Chestnut Hill College. Jane was a delegate for NCDA/People to People Ambassador Program in China. She is the past President for the Philadelphia chapter of the Association of Career Professional International.

She was a monthly guest on the CN8 Morning Show and is quoted frequently in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Monster.com and many major publications and websites. Jane is a member of the National Career Development Association, Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association and served on the Board of Dress for Success-Philadelphia. She wrote a weekly column, Career Blueprints for Abington.Patch.com and has been published in the Huffington Post, mindbodygreen, Talent Development, Home Business Magazine and CareerBright. Jane has been featured in Inc, Fast Co and Psychology Today and has been a guest on national radio shows

Jane has an M.S. in Counseling from the University of Rochester, and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is a certified instructor in Myers- Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventories.
